Tawas and East Tawas

From farmer's markets to Holiday celebrations, there is a lot going in the area all year! Below is a list of Spring, Summer and Fall events to make your visit filled with variety, fun, and excitement. Come visit us and enjoy all the area has to offer!

  • Farm market every Saturday from May7-October 29, 2022. It runs from 8am-1pm. Fresh produce and goods will be available. It will be held at: Gateway Park 815 W. Lake St. (US-23), Tawas City, MI  48763.

  • Vintage market on the second Saturday of every month from May 14-October 8, 2022. Come explore and maybe relive some old memories. It will be held at: Brugger Plaza 324 W. Lake St., Tawas City, MI  48763.

  • Every Tuesday night from 7pm-8:30pm on Newman St. in East Tawas, there will be live music for your free entertainment! Tuesday Night Live runs from June 21-August 16, 2022. 

 

  • For all of you bird watcher's and lover's out there, Tawas Point Migration Days runs from May 13-15, 2022. Come see how many different species of birds you can spot!

  • A Native Plant Sale will be held on May 14th from 10am-2pm  in the Tawas Point State Park near the Lighthouse. It will have a variety of Perennial native plants for sale for $4 and $6. Come brighten up your flower gardens this Spring!

  • The Memorial Day Arts and Crafts Show will be held on May 28-29. It will run from 10am-5pm On May 28th and 10am-4pm on May 29th. Come see the talent of the local artists! It will be located at Shoreline Park in Tawas City.

  • For you Classic Car lovers out there, Back to the Bricks Promo Tour will be held June 4th from 3pm-7pm on Newman St, in East Tawas! 

  • The 2022 Independence Day and Fireworks Celebration will be on July 4th. Come celebrate with us!

  • Summerfest 2022 will be held July 8-July 10. There will be various locations and a variety of events for all!

Oscoda

  • Iosco County Family Fun Fair will be held on April 23, 2022 from 10am-2pm at the Oscoda High School located at 3550 E. River Rd, Oscoda, MI. There will be games and activities for the whole family and lunch will be provided for all who attend!

  • The 38th Annual Art On the Beach Exhibit will be held on June 25-26, 2022. Only original Arts and Crafts will be on display for sale. It will be located on Oscoda Beach Park at the end of River Rd. in Oscoda, MI.

  • The Oscoda Independence Day Parade and Activities will be held on July 4. For more details on parade times and details of events, visit the website from the link provided below.
